A boxing contest was held at the northern zone of Kabul for the preparation of the election of the national boxing team
The National Boxing Federation of the General Directorate of Physical Training and Sports conducted an selection contest between 25 clubs and 117 sportsmen of Kabul's North Zone for the national team.
The contest was initiated two days ago between youth/teenagers categories which ended today.
As a result, 26 athletes from various clubs in the northern zone of Kabul were selected for national team contests.
These types of contests are held every year among the athletes of different provinces in order to select best players for national team for bringing prestige to the nation.
At the end, gifts and medals were also given to the best athletes for their outstanding performances.
