تیم ۱۲ نفری کوهنوردی دوندر ولایت هرات از سوی نمایندگی فدراسیون ملی این رشته در همکاری با ریاست تربیت بدنی و ورزش هرات، موفق به صعود سلسله کوه ها و بلند ترین قله کوه خواجه ابدال شد.
در این صعود تیم دوندر فاصله ۳۱۰۰ متری را به هدف آشنایی پیمایش شبانه و آمادگی به کوهنوردی سنگینتر، به مدت یک شب برگزار کرد.
