The participation of Afghanistan’s Kurash/Wrestling players in Tajikistan’s international Kurash championship
The 4th para championship under the title of (Nawrozi Kurash/ Wrestling) cup is being held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, between the athletes of 25 countries from 18-19 march, A five-member team from Afghanistan, including three Kurash athletes, a coach and a referee, are participating in this championship along with Sayed Mahmood Zia Dashti, the president of Kurash Federation, Among the athletes, Shoaib Yousefi in 65 kg weight, Sultan Hussain Bakra in 78 kg weight and Bismillah Mohammadi in 86 kg weight are participating in the above mentioned contest.
It is worth mentioning that the (International Wrestling Federation) proclaimed that 10,000 dollars will be allocated to the 1st position holder, following $ 7,000 to the second and $ 3,000 to 3rd position holders.
