رقابت های چپنکی کورش از طرف نمایندگی فدراسیون این رشته با همکاری آمریت تربیت بدنی و ورزش ولایت تخار میان ۷۰ ورزشکار در چمن شاروالی شهر تالقان برای مدت یک روز برگزار گردید.
در انجام این پیکار ها ۳۵ ورزشکار با شکست دادن حریفان خود به مقام های قهرمانی دست یافتند.
هدف از برگزاری این مسابقات رشد ورزش این رشته و تشویق جوانان به ورزش عنوان گردیده است، که در پایان برای ورزشکاران برتر تحایفی نیز اهداء گردید.
