رقابتهای کورش از طرف نمایندگی فدراسیون این رشته با همکاری آمریت تربیت بدنی و ورزش ولایت جوزجان میان ۱۲۰ ورزشکار برای مدت یک روز در ولسوالی مردیان این ولایت دایر گردید.
در انجام این پیکارها از میان ورزشکاران اشتراک کننده ۱۰ جوره آنها به نتیجه مساوی دست یافته و پنجاه تن دیگر آنها با شکست دادن حریفان خود مقام های قهرمانی را از آن خود نمودند.
