A one-day cycling contest was held on the occasion of the International Olympic Day under the slogan of sports, health and wealth at the National Olympic Committee in Kabul.
Athletes participating in these contests contemplate such events expedient for the development of cycling.
At the beginning of these contests, the Executive Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Dad Muhammad Payandah Akhtari, officials of the Cycling Federation and athletes participated.
40 athletes participated in these cycling contest, who competed with each other in a 10-kilometer race from the courtyard of the National Olympic Committee to the mountain of TV.
The Executive Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Dad Muhammad Payanda Akhtari, thanked the IEA for supporting sports activities in the country.
Mr. Akhtari added; The government has authorized the budget and in the near future it will also hold the national team contests of some of the federations that have not yet competed.
