The Afghan taekwondo team left for UAE to participate in the International Taekwondo Fujairah Open G2 Championships.

The Afghan taekwondo team left for UAE to participate in the International Taekwondo Fujairah Open G2 Championships.
The team consists of 6 athletes including four males and two females, two coaches and a delegation.
At this event 2000 athletes from across the world will compete for two days, on 2nd and 3rd February.
Dr Hadizullah Wali Rahimi, the elected president of Afghanistan held a farewell meeting  with the team and wished them success in the  International Taekwondo Fujairah Open G2 Championships.
According to the the national Taekwondo federation another aim that athletes attend  the competitions is preparation for Olympics games 2020 qualification competition.
