The Football contests between 8 teams has started in Bahramcha district of Helmand province

The contests will be played in Khurasan football stadium.

The initial match was played between Khurasan and Shaheed Noor jan teams, as a result, Khurasan team was able to defeat her rival with 3-0 goals.

The definitive aim of these contests are to promote sports activities in the remote districts of Helmand province.

It should be noted, over the last two decades of war, annihilations, internal displacements, atrocities, turmoil, disorders, bombardments, destructions, extrajudicial killings, forced disappearance and rivalries… such sports occasions and events were not taking place in the distant districts of the country.
